AM037 – Plunging Round - Over Router Bit

Plunging round-over cutter.

Edge rounding on curved work, patterns and internal cut-outs. The Plunging Round - Over Bit is manufactured by amsuo with micro-grain tungsten carbide tips brazed to a hardened steel body and ground on CNC form grinders. Every batch is checked for cutting diameter, angle and concentricity before packing.

Plunge-style bearing allows rounding to start inside a workpiece
Cut radius follows templates and pattern guides accurately
Bearing-guided depth control gives a repeatable rounded edge
Clean edge finish on solid timber, MDF and veneered board
Ideal for radiused edges around cut-outs and curved frames

Specifications

Shank options: 1/4" & 1/2". All dimensions in mm unless marked otherwise. Bearing-guided versions are supplied with the bearing fitted unless ordered otherwise.

Compatibility

Fits standard 1/4" & 1/2" collets and is suitable for plunge routers, fixed-base routers and router tables. Bearing-guided versions run against a template or straight edge.
